The heat sealable Hostaphan® products are biaxially oriented, coextruded films made of polyethylene terephthalat (PET) having one heat sealable surface. They seal permanently to themselves as well as to other polyester grades, e.g. A-PET or C-PET or to other substrates except for polyolefins and PVC. The films exhibit excellent strength and dimensional stability at high temperatures.
