The chemical treatment of these grades provides excellent adhesion primarily to solvent based coatings and printing inks.
HOSTAPHAN ® GN is a glass clear film made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET). HOSTAPHAN ® GN’s main characteristics are high transparency and very low haze combined with the well known excellent properties of polyester film like high mechanical strength and low shrinkage.
Therefore HOSTAPHAN ® GN is the film of choice for the following applications:
HOSTAPHAN ® GN is suited for all standard printing methods. Its glass clear film surface leads to an excellent deterioration free printing impression with an outstanding thermal resistance.
