Flame Retardant Polyester Films

HOSTAPHAN^® flame retardant polyester films from Mitsubishi Polyester Film are biaxially oriented films made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET). These flame retardant polyester films contain an efficient, halogen-free flame retardant. While retaining the excellent product properties of our polyester films, such as high mechanical strength and dimensional stability, our flame retardant polyester films also meet requirements of various flame classifications. Applications include electrical tape, wire and cable, flexible ductwork and window shades.

Gauges: 92 – 200 (23 – 50 microns)

Attributes:

• White opaque flame retardant film
• Glossy surface
• One and two side chemically treated for enhanced adhesion
• Contains no halogens, such as bromine and chlorine 
• UL Flame Class – VTM-0 (50 micron); VTM-2 (36 micron)
