Mitsubishi Polyester Film offers a variety of HOSTAPHAN ®coated film products that provide excellent surface properties for a variety of applications. Our surface treatments coupled with the superior properties of our polyester film base ensures coated film products high in quality and enhanced performance. We will also partner with our customers to develop unique surface treatments and customized product solutions to handle their specific requirements.
We offer families of coated products in our product portfolio that include adhesion promoters, release for silicone and non-silicone applications, antistatic and slip for improved handling.
Our state of the art adhesion promoting coatings improve adhesion to water and solvent- based printing inks, coatings and adhesives, as well as to metal and other substrates. These coatings insure good wettability important for strong and stable bonds to the polyester film.
Polyester film as a good electrical insulator tends to build up static charges at the surface, often requiring the installation of discharging equipment in coating, printing and laminating processes. We offer antistatic coated films to improve film handling by reducing or eliminating the static charge.
Our slip coated polyester films have improved surface characteristics that provide excellent handling in coating, printing and laminating processes.
